COMPUTEX Official Award – BC Award 2024 Registration Opens and will Focus on AI, EV, Energy Storage System & Sustainable Tech

COMPUTEX will return from June 4 to 7, 2024 in Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center (TaiNEX) Halls 1 and 2. As one of the mainstays and official award of COMPUTEX, Best Choice Award (BC Award) will also return while focusing on the latest ICT trends and continue to be the reliable purchasing reference for international buyers and visitors.
Participation for the Best Choice Award 2024 is limited to COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2024 exhibitors and will focus on 15 categories with highlights including AI, EV, Energy Storage Systems, and more. Products aiming to achieve sustainability and environmental protection can also register for the Sustainable Tech Special Award. Participants interested in joining Best Choice Award 2024 can register up to 5 products for free.
Winners of the Best Choice Award 2024 will be featured in the dedicated BC Award pavilion during COMPUTEX 2024 and promoted online via social media posts and online newsletters. The winners of the Best Choice of the Year Award as well as the Golden Award winners will be presented with their trophies during the COMPUTEX 2024 opening ceremony.
Sustainable Tech Special Award to Return in Best Choice Award 2024, New trend Categories Include EV and Energy Storage System, AI Takes Center Stage
TCA stated that the following COP28’s resultswhich include the promotion of renewable energy sources will increase the need for improved energy storage systems. While popular Li-ion batteries are already commonplace, it is undeniable that they need improvements in terms of stability, density, shelf life, and safety. Innovations in energy storage systems such as efficient storage of periodically available renewable energy such as solar or wind or scalable systems to cover a larger facility or geographic area.
In addition, ESG remains a strong trend with MarketsandMarkets Research estimating the industry’s value to grow from USD 0.7 billion in 2022 to USD 1.5 billion in 2027. Products focusing on both performance and sustainability such as energy efficiency, recyclability, high usage of recycled/ bio-materials, while avoiding usage of harmful chemicals or materials can register for the Sustainable Tech Special Award.
Various new products and solutions powered by or leveraging AI are expected to hit the market soon; especially as global interest in AI promoted by generative AI (GenAI) and large language models (LLM) continue to grow. Other AI related industries such as big data and cloud are also expected to join AI at center stage in this year’s Best Choice Award.
Registration for the Best Choice Award 2024 is limited only to exhibitors of COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2024 and will end on April 10, 2024. Exhibitors with innovative products that fit the criteria are encouraged to register for Best Choice Award 2024.
