COMPUTEX 2024 to Gather 1500 Global Exhibitors to Build a Global Digital Transformation AI Supply Chain

A report by Gartner forecasts global IT spending will grow by 6.8% in 2024 to reach a value of approximately USD 5 trillion with IT services to be the main contributor for the first time, reaching a value of USD 1.5 trillion and an annual growth rate of 8.7%.

As one of the organizers of Asia’s leading B2B ICT trade show, COMPUTEX; Taipei Computer Association (TCA) stated that COMPUTEX 2024 will focus on “Connecting AI”. This is due to the rapid development of AI technologies such as generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Models (LLMs) as well as the continued growth in the global digital transformation (DX). COMPUTEX 2024 will be held from June 4 to 7 and will gather 1500 local and international exhibitors who will showcase their innovations and products in AI computing, advanced communications, future mobility, immersive reality, sustainability, and other innovative technology products such as smart manufacturing, digital health, net-zero, and more.

Leveraging the global AI trends and demands for digital transformation, the organizers will invite representatives from leading tech companies including AMD, Delta, Intel, MediaTek, NXP, NVIDIA, Qualcomm, Supermicro, and more to share their insights in the COMPUTEX Forum. The speakers will join multiple keynote speeches, forums, panel discussions, and special events.

The startup focused event of COMPUTEX - InnoVEX is expected to gather 300 startup teams from around the world who will showcase various new and innovative solutions in digital technology, biotech & medical care, smart mobility, green tech, and more. Registration for one of the mainstays of InnoVEX, the InnoVEX Pitch Contest started from February 16. The top 15 finalists will have the opportunity to join an exclusive invitation-only matchmaking session that will be joined by global VCs and CVCs.

COMPUTEX 2024 to Focus on AI PC, HPC, Smart Mobility, Energy Storage Systems, and Sustainability

TCA stated that emerging AI technologies such as generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Model (LLM) have experienced rapid developments since 2023. Companies such as AMD, Intel, MediaTek, Qualcomm, NVIDIA, etc. have also announced the new launch of new semiconductor products utilizing 7nm and under processes for CPUs, GPUs, and NPU chips. When combined with the chiplet design solutions, this new technology can accelerate cloud AI computing performance while enabling the implementation of Edge AI applications. This trend has also encouraged manufacturers to start launching AI PCs and AI phones.

COMPUTEX 2024 has added the AI Computing & System Solutions area, Components & Battery Energy Storage Area, and Smart Technology Applications Area.
