Due to a rise of global awareness for environmental issues in recent years, it isn’t just enough to fulfill the product demand of the customer anymore, especially now that the age of 3E (energy, environment & economics) has arrived. For this reason, 2009 Best Choice has specially included the Green ICT Award to reach the following goals:
˙	By taking both market value and environmental protection into account, to develop products that have market potential and are environmentally friendly.
˙	Encouraging corporations to adopt “environmentally friendly” approaches as a major preliminary concern while developing new products that are beneficial to the cause of creating a better environment.
˙	To become a procurement platform for Green ICT.
