Computex Sweetie # 21 is Computex Star
 Computex Sweetie # 21 won the COMPUTEX STAR after getting the highest votes from overseas buyers and visitors out of 30 Computex Sweeties. In celebration of 30th anniversary, Taipei Computer Association (TCA) promotes numerous events named 30 Years On: Into the Future including the 30 Computex Sweeties Voting.
Aaliyah: A Humble Background

Mr. Chang Li (left), the deputy-secretary of TCA, handed over the winning cash award to Aaliyah. | Her name is Aaliyah, only child of her family who grew-up in the southern part of Taiwan (Tainan). Aaliyah speaks several languages including Chinese, English and local dialect Taiwanese. Her hobbies are dancing, singing and playing piano. Presently, Aaliyah is a college student of Shih Hsin University, taking broadcasting major. In her pastime, she likes to watch movies, going out with friends, interest in arts and loves music.
During the Press Show of Best Show Award held on May 26th, Aaliyah was captured by the attention of media representatives, which was published in the local daily newspaper. At once, many of her friends seen her on the front page, called her and greeted her. It was the first time Aaliyah publicized on giant newspaper.
Aaliyah said: "I have enjoyed a lot during the Computex Taipei exhibition, not only I met people from around the world whom I don't know them, but it is my duty to promote Computex Taipei." She also did some jobs such as an emcee to a Wedding Party, assistant to television soap opera and live entertainment in the exhibitions.
Sweetie Becomes Computex Star
 In the course of four days, Aaliyah has entertainment a lot of overseas buyers and visitors, whom she has charmed, entertained and light-up the spirit of Computex Taipei exhibition. Even the exhibitors themselves also have captivated by her beauty. It seems almost anybody wanted to take picture of her and also pose with her.
Her winning message, Aaliyah said: "Thanks to Taipei Computer Association for giving me a chance to participate in the Computex Sweetie, it was so much fun to co-work with other Computex Sweeties and to my surprise was to win the Computex Star, but I guess my interactions with hundreds of buyers makes me a Computex Star." She believes that her natural beauty is a blessing, but she believes that her confidence smile, intelligence and friendly attitude are keep inside her heart for a lasting impression.
At first, Aaliyah took rare opportunity to join this contest after TCA has posted ads last March in search for beautiful ladies. The staffs of TCA were very strict to find the right candidate, which they were under strict screening with personality tests including friendliness, English speaking skill, hosting, artistic, boldness and intellectual aptitude. She was selected among 200 plus applicants and also the best from the other 29 candidates.
Here were the 30 Computex Sweeties whom participated in the 30th anniversary of COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2010 exhibition, which used their lovely charm, beauties and friendly attitude toward thousands of overseas buyers and visitors that enjoyed so much with them as they entertained the buyers to meet the exhibitors after briefly promote their new products.
