MiTAC to demonstrate latest navigation devices and Tablet PCs

Mio: Announce the new generation of vehicle navigation recorder and Tablet PC

Establish in 2002, Mio introduced the world’s first global positioning system (GPS ) PDA device in Taiwan and south Korea in 2003, which built itself a brand name in the market, and became the world’s top five manufacturers of large-type portable device in 2005 (Source of the materials: IDC). The hot sales of Mio vehicle navigation recorder, MiTAC is going to display next generation product and at the same time, Mio will introduce the handiest Tablet PC for location based service (LBS) solution from its mother company, MiTAC. All together with Magellan outdoor consumer-type satellite navigation products are going to exhibit new products.

MiTAC announces the Multimedia Tablet PCs for ODM market

MiTAC is targeting on ODM market, introduced Valinor Tablet PC last year, which received 2010 Germany IF award and also got affirmation from 2011 Taiwan Excellence, where the winning reasons are based on designs of audio-video, touch-screen panel and multimedia, beside the user-friendly features, welcomed deeply by the market.
This year, MiTAC will introduce Tablet PCs come in two sizes: 7-inch display size Valar 7 and 10-inch display size Valar 10. In addition to the convenient still image/video captures by the dual cameras installed in front & back, can run all-day long usage with large capacity battery, and 1GHz Cortex processor that allows higher efficiency processing for Valar Tablet PCs series.

Beside the strong multimedia function, the newest 7-inch Ulmo Tablet PC followed the waterproof specification of withstanding one meter depth of water for 30 minutes. In addition with anti-shock design, Ulmo gives user peace of mind to bring out it to any place, without need of fear that the products will be damaged because of carelessness!

TYAN has launched the industry-leading MicroServer

For high-density datacenter applications such as web hosting, TYAN has launched the industry-leadingFM65-B5511 Micro Server. The FM65-B5511 is based on the Micro Module Server Specification, which addresses the emerging server segment that features scale-out, single-processor nodes with higher density and lower power consumption for web services applications. The FM65-B5511 supports up to 18 Intel® Xeon® processors in a 4U enclosure which provide higher density, higher performance with lower power consumption as compared to the traditional rackmount servers. It’s ideal platform design for web hosting or clouding computing environments.
