E-Detective is an Internet Content Monitoring and Surveillance system. It can be deployed at organization network (SME and Enterprises) for monitoring the Internet traffic of the entire organization. Besides, E-Detective systems can also be deployed by Lawful Interception Agencies at ISP and Telco network for monitoring the targeted suspects Internet activities.

Internet activities that are supported includes: Email (POP3, SMTP, IMAP), Webmail (Yahoo Mail, Gmail, Windows Live Hotmail etc.), IM/Chat (MSN, Yahoo, AOL, ICQ, QQ, IRC, Google Talk, Skype), Online Games, File Transfer (FTP, P2P), HTTP (Link, Content, Reconstruct, Upload/Download, Video Stream) and Telnet.

Besides, it also has rich reporting features which include Total Throughput Statistical Report (with Top-Down view approach), Network Service Report, Top Websites etc. It also comes with powerful search features like Free Text Search, Similar Search, Conditional Search and Association Search. Furthermore, its alert and notification features provide the administrator with immediate knowledge once pre-defined condition is triggered.
