AI 2.0 Computing Ecosystem to Shape Enterprise AI Deployment Strategies and Application Architectures
Publish Date :2025/05/06

As one of the organizers of Asia’s leading B2B tech trade show COMPUTEX and
its startup platform InnoVEX, the Taipei Computer Association (TCA) highlighted
how the rapid advancement of Generative AI (GenAI), large language models
(LLMs), and vision-language models (VLMs) is pushing businesses across all
sectors to confront the pressure of digital transformation.
To help decision-makers better understand AI deployment strategies across
cloud and edge environments in the AI 2.0 era, TCA hosted the AI NEXT FORUM on
May 6 at the Hanlai Hotel Taipei. The morning session, themed “The Defining
Moment for the AI Ecosystem,” featured keynote speeches by: Hans Chuang, Vice
President and General Manager, Asia Pacific and Japan, Intel Corporation; Robert
Wang, Managing Director, AWS Taiwan and Hong Kong; Emily Hong, Chair and Chief
Strategy Officer, Wiwynn Corporation; Denise Lee, Partner, McKinsey & Company.
Topics included breakthroughs in AI chip technologies, next-generation compute
infrastructure, enterprise cloud innovation, global AI ecosystem development,
and strategies for AI-driven digital transformation.
To give attendees hands-on insights into enterprise AI deployment, the forum
showcased solutions from Intel, ASRockRack, AsiaRF, and Z-COM. Exhibits included the
latest Intel Core Ultra and Intel Xeon processors, NVIDIA Blackwell enterprise
AI servers, AI-powered edge surveillance appliances, and AI edge computing
platforms. The National Science and Technology Council (NSTC)’s IC Taiwan Grand
Challenge (ICTGC) also introduced its third call for submissions on-site.
COMPUTEX 2025 Highlights “AI NEXT” Theme: AI 2.0 Hardware and Cross-Industry
Solutions
In his opening remarks, Paul Peng, Chairman of the Taipei Computer
Association, stated that COMPUTEX 2025,
themed “AI NEXT,” will feature over 1,400 exhibitors across 4,800 booths,
focusing on AI computing, smart mobility, advanced connectivity, and green
sustainability. New exhibition areas include the AI Services Zone and the
Robotics & Drones Zone, where companies such as AWS and Solomon will present
GenAI, agent-based AI, and intelligent robotics. Over 60% of the show’s booths
are AI-focused, covering everything from core hardware to real-world
applications—demonstrating AI’s transformative potential. The Smart Mobility
Pavilion will also showcase innovations in smart cockpit technologies and future
mobility.
Meanwhile, the InnoVEX startup exhibition will host 450 startups,
spotlighting global AI innovation. Featured pavilions include the Edge AI
Foundation from the U.S. and NSTC’s IC Taiwan Grand Challenge zone.
Additionally, more than half of this year’s Best Choice Award winners focus on
AI, further underscoring its role as a core engine of industrial growth.
The AI NEXT Forum focused on the technical strategies of the AI 2.0 era, with
themes ranging from GenAI and enterprise data centers to public-private cloud
integration, AI servers, and LLM-based application deployments. Speakers from
Intel, AWS, Wiwynn, McKinsey, III, Advantech, ASUS, and Delta shared practical
experiences and explored new opportunities for AI-driven transformation and
collaboration.

Intel Emphasizes Open, Heterogeneous Architectures for Scalable AI
Hans Chuang of Intel underscored the importance of open, heterogeneous AI
architectures to support increasingly complex enterprise AI needs. Intel
combines CPUs, GPUs, NPUs, and FPGAs to power diverse workloads and supports
initiatives such as the Open Platform for Enterprise AI (OPEA) to standardize
development frameworks. This unified infrastructure empowers developers to
deploy AI flexibly across data centers, clouds, PCs, and edge
environments—maximizing performance and commercial value.
AWS: Amazon Nova Delivers Multimodal GenAI Across Text, Image, and Video
Robert Wang of AWS Taiwan and Hong Kong shared how shared how Amazon’s 25+
years of AI/ML expertise drives customer-centric solutions. In December 2024,
Amazon introduced Amazon Nova, a groundbreaking foundation model capable of
handling text, images, and video. Its highlight, Amazon Nova Sonic, can
transcribe speech to text and generate speech from text in real time, and
integrates seamlessly via Amazon Bedrock. With speed, versatility, and powerful
capabilities, Amazon Nova redefines how users interact with AI.
Wiwynn Expands Global Production to Enhance AI Server Supply Chain
Resilience
Emily Hong, Chair and CSO of Wiwynn, underscored Taiwan’s global
leadership in ICT, providing 92% of the world’s servers and holding strong
upstream semiconductor capabilities. As AI accelerates, data center demands have
transformed, requiring innovations in chip power efficiency and cooling. Facing
emerging markets and the rise of sovereign AI, Wiwynn has expanded its L12
full-rack server integration capabilities, supporting customers with system
planning and deployment. The company has established AI server production lines
in Taiwan, Malaysia, Mexico, and the Czech Republic, with new investments in
U.S.-based smart manufacturing to strengthen global supply chain resilience.
McKinsey: AI Strategy Should Be Tailored to Operational Realities
Denise Lee, Partner at McKinsey & Company, emphasized that with rapidly
advancing compute power, evolving algorithms, and more energy-efficient token
processing, enterprises can now deploy AI architectures that suit their specific
business needs. This enhances operational efficiency, reduces labor
requirements, and enables new business models. She also noted the potential of
Agentic AI through multi-agent collaboration protocols, enabling integration of
multiple LLMs to solve complex enterprise challenges.
