BenQ Wins the Gold Award at Sustainable Design Award COMPUTEX 2024

As companies and countries aim to achieve net zero by 2050, promoting green programs become necessary. To support this initiative, COMPUTEX 2024 includes sustainability as one of its main topics and launched the ESG GO! series of events. As one of rhe organizers of COMPUTEX, Taipei Computer Association (TCA) stated that one of the core parts of the ESG GO! event is the Sustainable Design Award that honors COMPUTEX 2024 that implements sustainability in their booth design and operations.

After a series of pitches and onsite inspection by the judges, the winners of the Sustainable Design Award were announced on June 6. The winners are: BenQ - Gold Award, Acer and ASUS - Silver Awards, and Transcend and Wiwynn - Special Awards. As one of the organizers of COMPUTEX, Taipei Computer Association (TCA) hopes to not only promote more innovative and sustainable practices during exhibitions, but also inspire the entire exhibitions ecosystem to achieve a greener, more sustainable future.

COMPUTEX TAIPEI was founded and named by the then Chairman of Taipei Computer Association (TCA), Stan Shih. In 1985, TCA invited TAITRA to be a co-organizer of COMPUTEX TAIPEI. In 2016, the startup focused event, InnoVEX was introduced.

Responding to the rapid development of AI technologies and applications including GenAI and LLM as well as the continued increase in the global digital transformation demands; this year’s COMPUTEX 2024 will focus on “Connecting AI”. In total, 1500 local and international manufacturers will join COMPUTEX 2024 in not only the exhibition, but also forum and keynote speeches as well.
