InnoVEX 2024 will Focus on 4 Main Topics: AI, Smart Vehicles, Semiconductor Applications, and Green Technology

InnoVEX 2024 will be held from June 4 to 7 in Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 2 (TaiNEX 2). Held concurrently with COMPUTEX, InnoVEX visitors can visit both events at the same time. VCs can register for InnoVEX and join one-on-one matchmaking events with the top 15 Pitch Contest Finalists on June 7. Introduced this year, the Finalist Matchmaking event aims to connect the finalists with VCs, CVCs, buyers, users, distributors, media, and other resources while reducing the time required for startups to expand internationally.
Pre-registration is currently open only for international visitors, local professionals, and investors. Registration details for the general public will be published in May 2024. General public will only be admitted on June 7 and will need to purchase their entry tickets. Please note that entry is only permitted for adults aged 18 and above.
InnoVEX has continued to attract global startups and everyone interested in the latest trends of innovation and technology. In 2023, InnoVEX was joined by startups from 22 countries & regions and attracted 23,726 ICT industry buyers, C-level executives, and experts. InnoVEX 2024 Forum to Address Major Tech Trends
This year is expected to become the year of AI as companies continue to develop and explore AI and its applications, as well as its underlying technologies. In addition, as companies are expected to achieve Net Zero by 2050, topics of ESG and EV are becoming more important for individuals, enterprises/ organizations, and governments.
Addressing the major ICT trends this year, InnoVEX 2024 will focus on 4 main topics: AI, Smart Vehicles, Semiconductor Applications, and Green Technology. During the 4-day event, InnoVEX will hold a series of forums at the Center Stage covering the main topics; including the Smart Mobility EV Forum which will be joined by Dr. Frank Huang, Chairman of PSMC and chairman of Taiwan Advanced Automotive Technology Development Association (TADA) and Mr. Takeshi Fuse - Renesas Electronics Corporation, Head of HPC, BU Marketing, VP. New International Pavilions Debut in InnoVEX 2024 as More Country Pavilions Return
In addition to participation by innovative startups from Taiwan, InnoVEX will continue to host international teams from around the world. Country pavilions representing the Belgium, Brazil, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), France, Japan, and Poland will return once more. While the new country pavilions joining InnoVEX will represent Australia, Czech Republic, and Indonesia. The startups will not only showcase their innovations on the showgrounds, they will also join the Country Demo Pitch events on the Pi Stage.
International Exhibitors to Showcase the Most Innovative Technologies in InnoVEX 2024
InnoVEX will feature a number of innovative startups in 2024. One such exhibitor is Blumind from Canada, the company that won the grand prize of the InnoVEX 2023 pitch contest. They will showcase their latest AI technology at InnoVEX 2024, including the Ultra-low Power AI Analog Compute. Blumind's proprietary semiconductor architecture leverages the best of machine learning (ML), precision signal processing, in-memory computation, and brain-inspired processing to address various pain points in AI application and integration.
Another notable exhibitor is Nanowired, a German company that won the Tech Innovation Excellence Award ("TIE Award") in 2022. Nanowired's patented technology can control the length, direction, and homogeneity of nanowires, allowing them to cover joints more effectively and even eliminate the need for welding. This technology will play a crucial role in future semiconductor and electronics manufacturing.
Also joining InnoVEX 2024 is Watasumi from Okinawa, Japan. They were the honorable mention winner of the TIE Award in InnoVEX 2023. Watasumi provides bioelectrochemical systems (BES) to small or medium-sized food enterprises in Japan. Their system utilizes microorganisms cultivated from the BES to consume organic carbon in wastewater, generating electric energy and biogas in the process.
InnoVEX Pitch Contest to Introduce Exclusive One-on-One Matchmaking
As one of the organizers of InnoVEX, Taipei Computer Association (TCA) stated that this year’s Pitch Contest will focus on 6 main categories, including: AI, Green Tech, Healthcare & Biotech, Precision Manufacturing, Semiconductor Applications, and Smart Mobility. In total, there will be 11 awards with a total value of more than USD 100,000 which includes USD 63,000 cash prizes as well as various professional and promotional resources.
The awards are provided by both the organizers as well as sponsors including: the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC), the Small and Medium Enterprise and Startup Administration (SMESA) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), Business Startup Support Centre (BSSC), KPMG, NVIDIA, NXP, the ResorTech EXPO in Okinawa Executive Committee, PwC, and Taiwania Capital.
The Pitch Contest will consist of 2 rounds: the online preliminary round and onsite final round which will be held on June 6. The highlight of this year's Pitch Contest is the introduction of the exclusive one-on-one matchmaking event scheduled on June 7th. This matchmaking event is exclusive only to the 15 finalists where they can connect directly with the VC judges and international VCs or CVCs invited to the event. The finalists are also encouraged to join the InnoVEX Night Party on June 5th. This party serves as a prime networking occasion, connecting finalists with representatives from both local and global startup ecosystems.
InnoVEX 2024 to Organize ESG Events to Promote Sustainability
InnoVEX 2024 aims to address the growing ESG and sustainability trends by holding on-site events, brand sponsorships, ESG Forums, etc. The events will be a collaboration between InnoVEX and the convenience store chain – Family Mart under the tagline Dream Big, Go Green.
