With the rapid development of GenAI, Agentic AI, and AI Agents, large language models (LLMs) such as Google’s Gemma, OpenAI’s ChatGPT, NVIDIA’s Nemotron, Anthropic’s Claude, and Meta’s Muse Spark continue to evolve iteratively. AI technology is moving beyond individual models into a new stage of cross-platform, cross-system, and cross-domain integration. Faced with a rapidly evolving AI ecosystem, both enterprises and individuals are confronting entirely new challenges in AI application, system integration, and operative model transformation.

TCA (Taipei Computer Association), one of the organizers of COMPUTEX, remarks that as AI gradually moves from the experimental stage toward large-scale deployment, enterprises are beginning to face systemic challenges including Multi-Agent collaboration, AI infrastructure deployment, cybersecurity governance, edge-to-cloud computing, and the real-world implementation of AI applications.

Therefore, TCA will be hosting the COMPUTEX 2026 Pre-Show Forum on May 27, titled "The AI Era: A Collective Effort Toward AI Systems". The forum will bring together international enterprises and industry experts from Google Cloud, McKinsey & Company, MediaTek Inc., the Hon Hai Research Institute (Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd.), E Ink Holdings Inc., and Acer Medical Inc., to explore enterprise transformation and industry development in the age of AI Systems — spanning AI Agents, AI infrastructure, AI security, edge-to-cloud computing, and applications in smart retail and AI healthcare.

Scaling AI for Enterprises: The Values and Challenges

On the topic of how enterprises can drive digital transformation through enterprise-grade AI solutions, TCA has invited Moe Abdula, APAC Vice President of Customer Engineering at Google Cloud, to deliver a speech titled "Agents in Action - Real Life Examples and Best Practices for Agentic Solutions” at the COMPUTEX 2026 Pre-Show Forum. He will share how enterprise attitudes toward AI have shifted from "what if?" to "how fast can we scale?". During the session, Moe Abdula will unpack how enterprises can orchestrate a "Multi-Agent Workforce" and bridge the gap between corporate vision and actionable AI adoption, effectively governing autonomous enterprises. Moe Abdula brings over 27 years of experience in Software Development, Product Management, Solution Architecture, and Technology Strategy, and is a pioneer in Cloud innovation — from leading early implementations of container technologies to advancing the responsible adoption of Generative AI. Today, he is the Asia Pacific lead for the Technology Team at Google Cloud, and is helping enterprises unlock new opportunities through cutting-edge AI and cloud solutions.

In response to the four critical digital infrastructure bottlenecks enterprises face as AI transitions from the experimental stage to large-scale deployment — power generation, advanced cooling, high-bandwidth networking, and compute capacity — the forum has invited Ryan Fletcher, Partner at McKinsey & Company, to deliver a speech titled "Power, Cooling, Network, and Compute: The New Four Horsemen of AI Scale". The speech will provide an in-depth analysis of the current state of these four bottlenecks and outline the strategic necessity of deep cross-industry collaboration, exploring how the entire technology ecosystem can mobilize to collectively reshape the data center value chain and unlock the next phase of AI scaling. As a leader of McKinsey's Advanced Industries practice, Ryan Fletcher has long stood at the forefront of the AI hardware revolution, with deep expertise in semiconductors, photonics, and Datacom strategy. He has extensive experience advising the world’s leading technology enterprises on scaling the high-speed optical and semiconductor manufacturing capabilities that are critical for powering massive AI data centers.

The Era of Agentic AI: Semiconductors, Edge Computing, and AI Security

With edge AI computing demands growing rapidly, enterprises looking to adopt AI applications in vertical domains turn to Agentic AI. The forum has invited MediaTek's President and COO, Joe Chen, to deliver a speech titled "AI Everywhere | Era of Agentic AI from Edge to Cloud." Mr. Joe Chen will share his vision and insights on the rapidly accelerating era of Agentic AI from the edge to the cloud, as well as its impact on user experiences across a wide range of verticals. He will also analyze how the industry can collaborate to tackle the technical and systematic challenges stemming from widespread Agentic AI deployment. President Joe Chen was promoted from Co-COO to President of MediaTek in 2017, taking on further oversight of the company's global business operations while also heading MediaTek's Wireless Business Group, with direct responsibility for mobile-related business.

As enterprises accelerate AI adoption, AI cybersecurity and governance have become critical areas of concern in business operations. The forum has cordially invited Dr. Wei-Bin Lee, CEO of the Hon Hai Research Institute (Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd.), to deliver a speech on this topic. The establishment of the Hon Hai Research Institute is one of the key development strategies in Hon Hai’s journey toward its “Foxconn 3.0” transformation and upgrade. The institute operates five research divisions and one laboratory, dedicated to forward-looking technology research over the next three to seven years, with the aim of strengthening the company’s capabilities in technology and product innovation while enhancing its core competitiveness. Dr. Wei-Bin Lee currently serves as Chief Information Security Officer of Hon Hai Technology Group and CEO of the Hon Hai Research Institute (concurrently serving as Director of the Information Security Research Center). He has previously served as the Commissioner of the Information Technology Department of the Taipei City Government and the Chief Information Officer of Feng Chia University, and holds extensive credentials in cybersecurity and information technology across industry, government, academia, and research sectors.

AI Deployment is Penetrating All Industries. Further Accelerated by Labor Shortages in Vertical Sectors.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Labor, the "Wholesale and Retail Trade" is one of the three sectors most severely impacted by labor shortages. The forum has invited JM Hung, Vice President of the Business Center at E Ink Holdings, to deliver a speech titled "AI-Powered Retail: From Price Tags to Intelligent Media". He will share how ePaper technology has expanded from price tags to intelligent media networks, enhancing operational efficiency and customer experience through AI-generated content, cloud-based management, and sensor-driven interactions. At the same time, the ultra-low power consumption characteristics of ePaper also provide an energy-saving and carbon-efficient display solution for the AI era, driving retail towards a smarter and more sustainable future. Mr. JM Hung currently serves as Vice President of the Business Center at E Ink Holdings, where he leads Panel Development, System Integration, IC Design, Field Application Support, as well as the Business and Sales teams. He is one of the key driving forces behind the development of the ePaper ecosystem.

The issue of labor shortages in the healthcare industry is a challenge faced by medical institutions worldwide. However, due to the highly specialized nature of the healthcare sector, leveraging AI technology to reduce the burden of staffing and process workflows in medical institutions has become a critical area of concern for major hospitals. To address this, the forum has invited Dr. Allen Lien, Chairman and CEO of Acer Medical Inc., to deliver a speech titled "AI in Healthcare: Realities and Challenges" The speech will provide an in-depth analysis of how to combine high-quality clinical data with core AI technologies to realize the vision of "Intelligence in Practice", while offering concrete strategies to address current challenges. It will also guide the audience in understanding how to drive digital transformation within the rigorous framework of healthcare and build a socially impactful smart healthcare ecosystem. Dr. Allen Lien holds a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) from Harvard University, and has a distinguished career spanning clinical practice, international diplomacy, and epidemic prevention. He has previously served as a Medical Officer for the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control and a Health Attaché for Taiwan to Africa under the Ministry of Health and Welfare Taiwan, and has received numerous honors including being a winning recipient of the 26th Taiwan Medical Dedication Award.
