BEC MX-340-IRD Industrial LTE-M + Iridium SBD IoT Gateway
The BEC MX-340-IRD is an industrial LTE-M and Iridium SBD hybrid connectivity router with LTE Cat M1, two-way messaging over Iridium's LEO satellite network, and integrated GNSS. Users can select the preferred connection. If cellular service is lost, the device automatically switches to satellite messaging for critical alarms, telemetry, and equipment status, then switches back when service returns. It supports message prioritization and buffering, Modbus/TCP, and DNP3/TCP. Interfaces include two Gigabit Ethernet ports, two DB9 serial ports (RS-232/422/485), and digital input. It also features a NAT firewall and BECentral CloudEdge remote management. Its IP50 metal enclosure supports 10–56 VDC input and −40°C to +70°C operation for utilities, energy, transportation, and remote asset monitoring.
