CM6573 AI Gaming Headset Solution

The CM6573 is a highly integrated audio chip from Cmedia designed for gaming headsets. It pairs Xear Surround, Cmedia's software virtual surround sound, with hardware AI noise reduction (AI NR). Players hear exactly where in-game sounds are coming from, and teammates hear their voice clearly.

The chip runs on a 32-bit RISC-V processor at 140MHz, with 16Mbit of internal flash and 408KB of RAM, and it supports feedforward active noise cancellation (ANC). For audio, it has a high-performance stereo DAC with 112dB SNR that supports differential output, a 3-channel ADC with 105dB SNR, sample rates up to 96kHz, and a 10+10 band adjustable EQ. For interfaces, it supports USB 2.0 Full Speed (UAC 1.0), I2S, three UARTs, two SPIs, I²C, and 16 GPIOs that can be set for wake-up or interrupt. It also has a built-in PMU (charger, buck, and LDO). The chip comes in a compact QFN-40 package (4 × 6 mm), which keeps headset designs simple and lowers BOM cost.
